Title: Calljejero Jotero. Project (Streetmap Jotero. Project)

Authors:  students of CEIP La Jota (Zaragoza, Spain)

Synopsis: Callejero Jotero. Project tries to link the most traditional identity of the Aragon culture like Aragon’s folklore, with the use of, at present, one of the most avant-garde extensions of information digital technology like the QR codes. Besides, the project proposes the creation of a web platform to host different interactive and virtual layouts to provide to the citizens new ways to stroll int he city.

Títle: Plant a Comment

Authors: Tal y Omer Golan (Tel Aviv, Israel)

Synopsis: This work is a 3D multidimensional virtual world, in which trees are made of texts. The public is invited to write and share written expressions of thoughts and opinions, which get analyzed semantically and accordingly form trees.

Title: Do You Want to Play?

Synopsis: This project questions how do machines perform in the process of man / man interaction. Do You Want to Play? is a game in which much, little or nothing can happen. The happening is the encounter or simply the recognition of sharing a casual experience with one or more players in the same space.

Title: Urban Small Talk

Author: Christof Schläger (Renh, Germany)

Synopsis: This is an urban sound installation which produce a concert-event for one square mile of the city with 128 signal-horns and pipes on two places. The concert starts by using mobile phones to synchronize the two sound-machines. Urban topography becomes alive.

Title: #Smart

Author: Pasquale Direse (Italy)

Synopsis: #SMART is a cross-media multiplatform combining a mobile, opensource application, several interactive site-specific urban screens and a dynamic map aggregating local networks. The project uses  social media activity, citizen journalism and news feeds to become open-data available in real-time which mixes with the moving bodies of the passengers in the interactives screens. All of this  turns city walls into a dynamic digital graffiti. Besides, the transmigration of local news and informations from paper to participative hypermedia plattform becomes a free service and framework for public communication and urban ecology.

 Title: Bicycle Latern Parade

Authoe: Juan Carlos Carvajal Bermudez (Colombia)

Synopsis: Bicycle Latern Parade consists in three urban interventions, like bicycle parades, in the city of Zaragoza. For these parades each bicycle carries a LED lighting device which can generate patterns and interactions between the participants through radio signals. The main goal is to make the bicycle collective visible for the public and to allow the bicycle collective to participate in the collective identity of the city, and so, contribute to the generation of a urban bicycle culture.
